DIY Lip Gloss Recipe:
Quick Recipe # 1:
Flavoured Lip Gloss:
- Mix aloe vera gel with a drop or two of your preferred flavoured extract (like vanilla or mint). The aloe vera will add a glossy sheen.
- Stir well and transfer the mixture to a small lip gloss container.
- Apply the gloss to your lips for a hydrating and flavored shine.
Full Commitment Recipe # 2:
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon beeswax pellets
- 1 tablespoon sweet almond oil
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Optional: A few drops of your favorite essential oil for fragrance (e.g., vanilla, mint)
Instructions:
- In a heat-resistant bowl, combine coconut oil, beeswax pellets and sweet almond oil.
- Use a double boiler or microwave in short intervals to melt the ingredients until you achieve a smooth liquid consistency.
- Stir in the honey, and blend it with the melted mixture. Honey adds a hint of sweetness and moisture to the gloss.
- If desired, add a few drops of your preferred essential oil to infuse a delightful fragrance into your lip gloss. Stir well to combine.
- Carefully pour the liquid gloss into small lip gloss containers or empty lip balm tubes. Leave them open until the gloss solidifies.
- Once solid, your DIY lip gloss is ready for application. Use your fingertips or a lip brush to glide the gloss onto your lips for a shiny, moisturized finish.
