Ingredients

• 1 small beetroot
• 1 tablespoon coconut oil
• 1 teaspoon honey
• Small storage container with a lid

Instructions

1. Wash and peel the beetroot. 
2. Cut the beetroot and blend the pieces until you achieve a smooth, liquid consistency. You can add a small amount of water, if needed. 
3. To extract the juice, strain the blended beetroot using a sieve or cheesecloth. Collect the beetroot juice in a bowl.
4. In a clean container, mix 1 tablespoon of coconut oil with 1 teaspoon of honey. 
5. Add the beetroot juice to the coconut oil and honey mixture. Adjust the ratio based on your desired intensity of color.
6. Stir the ingredients thoroughly to ensure an even distribution of color. The coconut oil and honey is the moisturizing base for your lip stain.
7. Transfer the mixture into a small container with a lid for storage and easy application.

To apply, use your fingertip or a lip brush to dab a small amount of the lip stain onto your lips.

Note: For a more intense colour, you can apply additional layers until you achieve the desired tint.

Optional Additions: Customize your lip stain by adding other natural ingredients. For example, if you want a hint of fragrance, add a drop of your favorite essential oil. You can also adjust the sweetness by adding a bit more honey but don’t eat it!

Storage Tip: Store the lip stain in the refrigerator between uses to prolong its freshness. Since this lip stain is made with natural ingredients and doesn’t contain preservatives, it’s best to use it within a week or two. Enjoy your homemade lip stain!
